CompuServe, Prodigy, Delphi - the names may now be history, but they all had user bases in the pre-Internet era. So did another company which is one of the few survivors of that era - America Online, better known as AOL.

Since this is what the Internet does best, wouldn’t it be a good idea to focus some serious attention on this aspect of it? Surely the ability to communicate among a virtual group is the fabled ?silver bullet’ of the Internet, and has been all along?

When we talk about electricity the first idea that comes to
our mind is wireless electricity.

We are all tired of looking at cables spread
through our house like snakes, trying to hide them under the carpets, behind
the bed. No matter how hard you try to hide them, they are always visible.

Can you imagine your home without cables? Can you imagine
all house electrical appliances working without plugging? No charges for cell
phones, laptops? Is it possible? Are we close to wireless electricity? Yes! A
group of scientists from Massachusetts Institute of Technology figured out how
to transmit electric power without using wires ? over the air. This is just an
experiment but we all hope it will soon become reality.
